  • Basics of Real Estate Taxation (Approval # E0582-0408) - This course brings the experience of a certified public accountant, attorney and avid real estate investor to share what all real estate licensees should know about the taxes associated with buying, owning, and selling residential real estate.
  • The Mortgage Process (Approval # E0585-0408) - This course demystifies the entire mortgage process from the time a purchase contract is signed to the day the keys are handed over and how real estate professionals.

Taxes!  Yuck, who wants to talk about taxes?   This course brings the experience of a certified public accountant, attorney and avid real estate investor to share what all real estate licensees should know about the taxes associated with buying, owning, and selling residential real estate.  By exploring such basic questions as “what is a residence?” the course provides students with a practical view of taxation that can be leveraged to better assist clients.  One unit of the course is dedicated to the taxes associated with a home office, bringing immediate practical application to many agents.

 

From Contract to Keys - The Morgage Process

Over 95% of all real estate purchases involve the procurement of one or more loans or mortgages.  This content packed course demystifies the entire mortgage process from the time a purchase contract is signed to the day the keys are handed over and how real estate professionals can most appropriately and professionally participate in the process.  The course provides practical tips, tools and steps agents can take to better serve clients before and during this critical stage of any transaction.  Students are walked through each step including the application process, loan processing, underwriting and what all parties enjoy, the closing!

 

Real Estate Appraisal for Agents
